CHECKERS

PLAYING CHECKERS 

ON THE CHEXAGON BOARD

OBJECTIVE:

The player to capture all their opponent's checkers, or make the last move wins!

GAME INSTRUCTIONS: 

Played with the traditional rules of checkers.

 

The player moves their checkers diagonally forward left or right.

 

Checkers are moved one space at a time as player alternate turns.

 

Single checkers cannot move or jump backward. 

 

Any checker that has a jump must take the jump or forfeit the game and lose. 

Once a single checker reases the crown row it becomes a crown checker and can move and jump forward and backward. 

CONNECTION

PLAYING CONNECTION 

ON THE CHEXAGON BOARD 

OBJECTIVE: 

 

Each player's goal is to make as many connections as possible and score points while keeping their opponent from making any connections or as few connections as possible with fewer points. The player with the higher score at the end of a match of 3 or more games wins!

 

GAME INSTRUCTIONS: 

Make a connection of at least four  checkers in a straight diagonal, horizontal or vertical line equaling a 40 points score. The more checkers added to an initial connection you earn more points.

With each player alternating on turns, places one of their 15 checkers on any one of the red or blue  numbered squares until all checkers have been played onto the board. 

Checkers are not placed in the yellow space.

 

When all of the checkers have been placed onto the board the game is over and points are counted. The player with the most points is the winner of that game. 

 

Each match is a predetermined  odd number of 3 or more games. 

GAMMON

PLAYING GAMMON 

ON THE CHEXAGON BOARD

OBECTIVE: 

Each player after rolling the 8 sided dice will use one math factor either addition, subtraction, division or multiplication to remove  their checkers from the board. The player to remove all 15  checkers from the board first wins!

​​GAME INSTRUCTIONS: 

Players alternate turns rolling the 8 sided dice.

With each roll the player move one or more checkers off the board or to a  better positions on the board before finally removing from the checker from board. 

The roll of the dice tells the player what to do. With each roll there are six options:

1. MOVE BY NUMBER RECOGNITION- 

Whatever the number is on each dice will be the checker removed from the same exact numbered diamond. If the dice roll is the #3 and the #7, the the checker on diamond numbered 3 is removed and the checker on diamond numbered 7 is removed from the board. 

 

2. MOVE BY ADDITION- 

The number on each dice is added, and the checker on the same exact numbered diamond that equals the number from the added dice should be removed from the board. 

If the dice roll is the #1 and the #4 and you add them together, the equal 5. The the checker on diamond numbered 5 is removed from the board.  

3. MOVE BY SUBTRACTION-
