How to Play Connection on the Chexagon Board
OBJECTIVE:
Each player's goal is to make as many connections as possible while keeping their opponent from making any connections or as few connections as possible. The player with the higher score at the end of a match in 3 or more games wins!
GAME INSTRUCTIONS:
Create a connection. You create a connection when you have at least four checkers in a straight line that is diagonal, horizontal or vertical on any of the red or blue squares. A connection equals a 40 points score. The more checkers added to an initial connection earns you more points.
Players alternate turns, placing one of their 15 checkers on any of the red or blue numbered squares until all checkers have been played onto the board. Checkers are not placed in the yellow space.
When all the checkers have been placed on the board the game is over and points are counted. The player with the most points is the winner.
Each match is a predetermined odd number of 3 or more games agreed to before the match begins.
